What is the NZAG?

The New Zealand Art Guild (NZAG) is a supportive community of like-minded New Zealand artists.  It is a place where you can get support in an otherwise solitary profession.  The NZAG also provides member challenges, resources and exclusive exhibition venues for its' members to showcase their art.

How do I join the NZAG?

Membership to the NZAG couldn't be simpler.  Simply complete and submit the online application form.  Your application will be reviewed by management and you will be sent details on how to finalize your membership and gain access to our private community forum.

What are the fees for Membership?

Membership subscriptions for the first year are as follows and are payable in advance:  

• General membership: $50 6mthly or $95 annual      

• Students: (10% discount) $45 6mthly or $85.50 annual 

• Over 60 years of age: (10% discount) $45 6mthly or $85.50 annual

What do I get as a Member of the NZAG?

• A private message board forum within our Public Website

• Information and reference material in a easy to find format

• Ability to promote yourself and your website on the NZAG public website

• Ability to promote your exhibition and events on the NZAG public website

• Access to the NZAG exclusive exhibition venues at Tauranga and Auckland

• Ability to participate in annual exhibition and collaborative projects

• Membership cards which entitle you to discounts on art supplies, photography,
  canvas and more. Both instore and online.

• Theme challenges with member voting & free promotion rewards.

How long does it take for membership applications to be processed?

We aim to process all membership applications within 3 working days.

Can I pay my subscription by credit card?

We are not currently set up to take credit card payments but we do accept internet bank transfer, manual bank deposit and cheque.

Can I pay my subscription by automatic payment each month?

Do you give discounts off the subscription fees and what is the criteria?

Yes, we offer 10% discounts for both Students &/or for artists over 60 years of age. Only one discount applies. We also offer a discount of 5% if you pay annually.
